Car Seat Covers – The Accessory For Any Climate

If you have car seats made of leather or vinyl, you know the shock of sitting on them after they have baked in the summer sun for several hours.  You also know how quickly the chill travels up your spine on those frosty winter mornings.  There isn’t much you can do to relieve the trauma of these situations, short of starting your car and running the heat or A/C for a while before venturing forth.  Perhaps a better solution would be to invest in a set of Car Seat Covers.
Winter and summer seat issues have some similar remedies, and some that are vastly different.  For example, in the summer, you want to keep the sun from beating on the interior, especially the front seat, and steering wheel.  This is an area where a windshield reflector screen may help.  Then there are Car Covers, which are available for just about every make and model car (or truck for that matter).  They are designed to protect the whole vehicle from the elements, and completely block the suns rays from torching your interior.  However, winter discomfort is due to the lack of heat, and there isn’t an accessory that will help (short of seat warmers, an option not available in every model car).  This is where seat covers become equalizers.  They offer an all-weather solution to the discomfort of a hot or cold seat.
Seat covers come in various colors and styles, from the lightweight and bland, to the fluffy and outrageous.  You can usually find a (close) color match to your existing interior, or you can make a statement about who you are, with flames, dragons, or camouflage patterns adorning your seats.  Product quality can vary, so do your homework.  Your local automotive parts dealer may be able to help you in this area.
Installation of seat covers is easy, and will generally give you the results that you’re looking for.  If you add steering wheel and Car dash Covers, you will have done just about everything possible to make getting into your auto or truck more comfortable, regardless of the temperature.
